Location: Dublin (Belfield) | Hybrid
About Life Scientific
At Life Scientific, we are redefining the future of crop protection. Through our innovative reverse-engineering approach, we bring high-quality, off-patent products to market faster and more efficiently — supporting farmers globally.
Backed by our parent company InVivo (France’s leading agricultural co‑operative), we are expanding our R&D pipeline and global footprint. Our success is built on being first to market, combining scientific excellence with commercial focus in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
We operate with a shared leadership mindset — empowering our people to take ownership, contribute ideas, and make a meaningful impact.
The Role
As part of our continued growth and expanding product portfolio, we are looking for a Regulatory Scientist (Residues & Analytical Methods) to join our Regulatory team. This role is ideal for a scientist with a background in analytical chemistry who is looking to apply their expertise in a dynamic, commercially focused R&D environment. You will play a key role in supporting both new product registrations and the defence of existing authorisations across European markets.
What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing position papers and higher‑tier refinements to support residue risk assessments
Conducting dietary risk assessments for both humans and livestock
Designing and troubleshooting residue trials, metabolism studies, and analytical methods
Performing data gap analysis for active substances and formulated products
Preparing and reviewing draft registration reports, with a focus on residues and analytical methods sections
Collaborating with regulatory authorities, consultants, CROs, test facilities, and internal teams, including laboratory functions

What We’re Looking For

Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline (Masters or PhD advantageous)
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the residues assessment of agrochemicals
Strong academic background with a focus on analytical chemistry
Ability to develop clear, structured scientific arguments to support regulatory positions
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and adding value
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Why Join Us?
At Life Scientific, you’ll be part of a team that sits at the intersection of science and commercial impact. You’ll gain exposure across the full product lifecycle, work closely with experts across multiple disciplines, and contribute to bringing important crop protection solutions to market.
