Clancy Construction is currently seeking experienced General Operatives to join our site team in Cork..
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a live construction site, supporting day-to-day operations and contributing to the successful delivery of projects in line with Clancy's high standards of quality, safety and professionalism.
Location This is a Site based role in the Cork area.
Reporting to The Site Manager.
As a General Operative, you will play an important role in maintaining a safe, tidy and efficient site environment while representing Clancy Construction in a professional manner at all times.
Key Responsibilities Carry out general site duties as directed by the Site Manager Undertake a variety of construction-related tasks including (but not limited to): Carpentry Block-laying Site cleaning and housekeeping Site welfare upkeep and maintenance Unloading and handling materials Work in accordance with the Clancy Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) Actively engage with site safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture Identify potential safety issues and work collaboratively with the site team to resolve them Represent Clancy Construction professionally and uphold the company's core Values at all times Requirements Experience Previous construction experience in Ireland.
Knowledge Basic knowledge of site safety requirements Qualifications Essential: Safe Pass, Manual Handling Desirable: Working at Height, Abrasive Wheel, Scaffolding, Teleporter Operator Skills & Abilities Ability to use hand-held and mechanically aided tools Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Good verbal communication skills Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team Physical ability to carry out site-based tasks If you are reliable, safety-conscious and keen to work in a hands-on site role, we would love to hear from you.
