New Energy is a fast-growing renewable energy company specialising in solar PV and EV charger installations across Ireland. As demand continues to rise, we are expanding our installation division and seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team.
This position involves working on domestic and commercial properties, preparing roofs for solar panel installations, installing mounting systems, and ensuring every project is completed safely and to a high standard. The successful candidate will work closely with our electricians and installation crew to ensure efficient delivery of each job.
Key Responsibilities
* Install and secure solar mounting systems on tiled, slate, and metal roofs
* Carry out roof repairs, waterproofing, and tile/slate replacements where required
* Ensure adherence to health and safety standards at all times
* Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to a professional standard
* Work collaboratively with team members on site to ensure timely project completion
* Represent New Energy professionally with clients and suppliers
Requirements
* Proven roofing experience is essential
* Safe Pass and Manual Handling required (Working at Height certification desirable)
* Ability to work confidently at height and in varying weather conditions
* Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
* Full, clean Irish driving licence preferred
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a small team
Desirable Skills
* Experience with solar PV mounting systems
* Knowledge of slate and tile roof systems
