The Family Centre is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Head of Services to lead our team, manage daily operations, and shape the future of our not-for-profit organisation.
Based in Castlebar, the successful candidate will oversee services in counselling, bereavement support, education & training, and social prescribing.
Reporting to the Board, the role includes managing staff and volunteers, financial management, strong governance, sourcing funding, strategic plans, facility management and building key stakeholder partnerships.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' management experience in a not-for-profit/charity setting or similar setting.
3rd-level qualification in Healthcare Management, Social Science, Business, Administration or Related fields.
Strong leadership, organisational and financial management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Empathy, professionalism, and commitment to community wellbeing
Experience in counselling/psychotherapy or knowledge of healthcare standards is desirable but not essential.
Salary commensurate with experience.
