About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at our Carrigaline Enzyme manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our Lactase Enzyme product range and production line.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all food safety and quality requirements for the Lactase Business, working closely with the established quality team on site.
2. Ensure new lines are compliant with Kerry Quality Management Systems, FSQ standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Lead external and internal audit programmes (including GSS, FSSC, Customers, Third-Party, Authorities, etc.) to ensure audits are completed to the required frequency and drive close-out of non-conformances.
4. Generate, maintain, and update internal quality and food safety/quality site KPIs and customer reports, providing accurate data analysis.
5. Responsible for customer complaint handling, responses, reporting, and trending.
6. Oversee the quality of Third-Party Manufacturers.
7. Build relationships with senior management of the Kerry enzyme business and other Kerry enzyme portfolio sites.
8. Work with cross-functional teams on site in Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement Projects.
9. Ensure there is a robust traceability procedure in place that is regularly challenged.
10. Ensure all FSQ requirements are covered in Change Management Process.
Qualifications and Skills:
* SIGNIFICANT QUALITY EXPERIENCE gained within Food / Beverage / Pharma manufacturing industry with a good eye for detail.
* Degree or equivalent in Food science/technology related subject.
* LEAD AUDITOR QUALIFICATION (GFSI) and familiar with various food quality standards.
* HACCP Level 4 (Min).
* Food Hygiene Level 3 (Min).
* Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills, fluency of English.
* Numerical ability to record, interpret, and analyze key data.
* SAP experience is beneficial but not essential as training is provided.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels up and down.
* Proficient in the use of MS Office tools.
