Quantity Surveyor - Dublin

A Quantity Surveyor is required to work for a leading Main Contractor.
Based initially in North Dublin on a 400 unit residential project, you will oversee the commercial performance of a number of key packages with the support of Junior staff.
Job Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
* Conduct feasibility studies to assess the project potential and financial viability.
* Oversee the procurement process by valuing tenders, negotiating contracts, and managing subcontractors.
* Monitor project costs and manage variations throughout the project's life cycle.
* Prepare and maintain detailed reports of project costs, budgets, and overall financial performance.
* Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
* Provide advice on contractual claims, disputes, and risk management.
* Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for construction activities.
* Participate in project meetings and contribute to strategic planning sessions.
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
* Experience working on commercial projects, preferably in Ireland.
* Proven track record in managing large-scale projects from conception to completion.
* Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
