On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join a high-quality Nursing Home in County Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse leader who is passionate about person-centred care and looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with active NMBI registration
* Minimum of 2 years’ management experience in a healthcare or nursing home setting
* Post-registration qualification in Gerontology and/or Dementia Care is highly desirable
* Eligibility to work in Ireland
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with a commitment to professional development and staff empowerment
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the highest standards of nursing and social care, tailored to meet each resident’s individual needs
* Oversee clinical governance, assessments, and care planning to maintain quality outcomes
* Lead and mentor CNMs, nurses, and care assistants, promoting teamwork, learning, and excellence in care delivery
* Supervise medication management, conduct regular audits, and work closely with GPs and pharmacists to ensure compliance and best practice
* Support the Director of Nursing in maintaining exceptional clinical, environmental, and hygiene standards
* Act as a trusted point of contact for residents and families, fostering a warm, person-centred environment
