Site Reliability Engineer - Azure | SaaS | Dublin (Hybrid - 2 Days Onsite)
A leading software company is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their growing team supporting a complex SaaS platform hosted in Microsoft Azure. This is a traditional SRE role focused on system reliability, performance, monitoring, incident response, and observability.
You'll work closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to maintain scalable, high-availability systems and ensure exceptional service reliability for end users.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of Azure-hosted services
2. Build and manage robust monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling
3. Automate provisioning, deployment, scaling, and incident response
4. Lead and participate in incident management and post-incident reviews
5. Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
6. Optimize system performance and capacity through data-driven approaches
7. Maintain strong security and compliance alignment (., ISO27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
Required Skills:
8. Experience in a SaaS or software product environment is essential
9. Proven background in Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services
10. Strong scripting/automation skills (., PowerShell)
11. Familiar with monitoring platforms such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog
12. Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD support tools
13. Skilled in incident response, root cause analysis, and system resilience
14. Understanding of cloud security and regulatory compliance standards
Nice to Have:
15. Azure certifications (., Administrator, Architect)
16. Experience in the London Insurance Market
17. Familiarity with ServiceNow, PagerDuty, or other incident management tools
