Location: Cork - NETGEAR European headquarters
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days on-site per week)
Reporting to: Sr. Finance Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated accounting professional to lead statutory accounting, taxation, and legal compliance processes across our EMEA entities. This role is a critical part of the EMEA Finance function and offers a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure within a high-performing, multinational finance team.
Responsibilities
* Leading certain month end close activities across multiple entities, ensuring that relevant deadlines are met.
* Preparation of various deliverables to support both internal and external financial monthly/quarterly/annual reporting needs, including analytic commentary and the preparation of supplementary financial analysis for management and other stakeholders.
* Ownership of key GL balance sheet accounts reconciliation, review & analysis – with action driven focus to ensure accruals are appropriate & in line with company policy.
* Year end and annual audit assistance across the region to ensure a smooth year end.
* Preparation of monthly commission payable for EMEA sales team & associated monthly/ quarterly accruals.
* Lead point of contact with outsourced payroll providers.
* Management of certain intercompany transactions related to employee equity (RSU/ESPP).
Qualifications
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
* Strong financial accounting background in a multinational environment.
* Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and financial controls across multiple European entities.
* Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
* Highly organised and structured, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working for a US-headquartered company.
* Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and US GAAP.
* Proficiency in Oracle or similar ERP systems.
