Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Intermediate Level)Location: West DublinSalary: €65,000 - €75,000 + Package (DOE)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a busy construction team in West Dublin. The role involves managing project costs, contractual matters, and supporting project delivery from mobilisation through to final account.
You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure strong financial control, value management, and clear commercial reporting across all stages of the project life-cycle. This role is well suited to someone progressing towards a Senior Quantity Surveyor position.
Key Responsibilities
Manage project costs and value from mobilisation to final account
Support procurement of subcontractors and assist with subcontract agreements
Review and assess subcontractor interim payments and final accounts
Evaluate design changes and communicate cost impacts to the project team
Identify and support value engineering opportunities
Prepare monthly valuations for client submission and agree final amounts
Contribute to monthly commercial reporting (cost vs value analysis, forecasts, turnover, etc.)
Assist in preparation and agreement of final accounts with clients
Provide contractual and commercial support to the project director and wider team
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams
Requirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying (Level 8 or higher)
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role
Strong understanding of construction contracts and standard forms of agreement
Experience working with subcontractors and client-facing responsibilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience with CostX, Bluebeam, or Cubit is an advantage (training provided if required)
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
Ambitious, career-driven, and motivated to progress to Senior QS level
