Job Description
The role of the HR Generalist is to provide comprehensive day-to-day support to our team. This involves fostering positive employee relations, recruiting candidates, performance management, compensation and benefits, and other HR projects to drive business success.
Key responsibilities include acting as the main HR contact for employee queries, delivering precise and compliant HR operations in a timely manner, devising and updating HR policies, maintaining accurate employee records, managing probation and performance reviews, and providing support with Performance Management activities.
Additional duties include resolving employee relations issues, applying and interpreting policies and procedures, performing exit interviews, analysing trends, and summarizing reports to management. The HR Generalist will also partner with different business leaders and functions to proactively manage HR-related activities, drive a positive employee relations culture, and promote new employee engagement programmes.
This role requires strong knowledge of HR systems, analytics, and metrics to provide insights that drive decision-making. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or similar HR discipline.
* 5+ years' experience in HR roles.
* Strong knowledge and practical experience of Irish employment law and employee relations.
* High attention to detail, knowledge of HR Systems and databases, ability to work on own initiative, flexibility, confidentiality, results orientated, excellent organisations and planning skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

As an HR Generalist, you will have opportunities to lead departmental/cross-functional projects, benchmark HR best practices, develop company-wide initiatives and programs, and manage existing compensation and benefits programs. You will also be involved in designing and leading graduate and trainee development programs and supporting the development of team members.
