**Bid Management Role Summary:**
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to contribute to the expansion of our engineering business in Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing prequalifications and tenders from initial notification to successful delivery.
Your primary responsibility will be to build relationships with internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors, and translate their challenges into successful opportunities for business development. You will take ownership and responsibility for driving day-to-day interactions with stakeholders to deliver bid/tender documentation on time, economically advantageous, and to a standard resulting in successful contract award.
Missions and Responsibilities:
* Develop opportunities against which to submit proposals, ensuring that our business remains focused, of high quality, and profitable.
* Consider commercial and proposal activities to maximise profit and enhance our reputation with key clients.
* Engage with clients to ensure thorough understanding of their current and future needs.
* Review preliminary bid documents to recommend go/no-go decisions aligned with our business strategy.
* Lead the bidding process for identified engineering opportunities and bids, ensuring all contractual and technical conditions are understood.
* Develop winning proposals in line with approved bid programmes and budgets.
* Interpret engineering requirements from clients and lead our response, coordinating resources from international offices.
* Create and maintain a register of new opportunities and look for ways to build on current business successes – provide KPIs and reports as needed.
