Packaging Technologist – Permanent | On-site | LongfordWhat you need to knowMatrix Recruitment is seeking aPackaging Technologistfor a well-established organisation. This full-time role involves managing packaging, labelling, and pre-pack execution across multiple projects, ensuring operational readiness and compliance. You'll work cross-functionally to support manufacturing operations and maintain high standards across packaging processes.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain NiceLabel templates, master data, and troubleshoot label systems.Set up and validate barcodes, maintain SAP and palletiser data, and oversee packaging and material specifications.Review and approve artwork, pack formats, label positioning, and first delivery checks.Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure technical packaging execution and line validation.Ensure compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory standards, managing reporting and supplier specifications.Requirements:Degree or equivalent in Packaging Technology, Food Science, or Engineering.Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing.Hands-on experience with systems such as NiceLabel, Colos, SAP, and artwork tools.Highly organised, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.DisclaimerBy applying, you are giving consent for Matrix Recruitment to contact you about this job.
