The Odeon Group has a very exciting opportunity ,as we are currently seeking an experienced upbeat, and highly motivated booking and sales person to join our team. The successful candidate would be responsible for taking and organising bookings and social media for our popular bar venues, Dakota ,Rag Trader, Ciss Maddens and The Odeon located in Dublin City centre.
This role will be based in our head office, located on South William Street.
The ideal individual would be customer-focused and standards driven. They must be reliable and organised, with good communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail is essential, alongside initiative.
Main responsibilities include;
* Handling booking enquiries via e-mail and telephone in a timely, efficient manner while taking deposits and reconciling balances due on invoice after events
* Meeting potential clients, and performing some onsite viewings.
* Assisting and managing the availability and co-ordination of the venues' function calendar and preparing a 3 month digital calendar for future promotions
* Design posters and menus using Canva
* Generating content and scheduling social media posts
* Generating sales, delivering high level of service in all transactions
* Liaising with Head Office Management and Bar Management
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious administrator, looking to expand their sales and events experience within a busy environment.
Requirements;
* Experience in Sales / Hospitality / Event Management/Bookings/Social Media
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
* Mac Computer literate
