Position Summary
The Analyst - Marketing will support SKY's commercial activities with a passion for aviation, providing analytical support to senior marketing professionals across dynamic global markets. This role involves analyzing industry trends, supporting transaction documentation, managing airline relationships, and providing data-driven insights to guide marketing and business development strategies in the ever-evolving aviation finance landscape
Job Functions
* Aviation Industry Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research on aircraft values, lease rates, and industry trends across different aircraft types and dynamic geographical markets with genuine passion for aviation developments
* Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work collaboratively across Underwriting, Capital Markets, Technical, and Legal departments to support acquisitions, dispositions, and value-add asset management opportunities
* Geographic Market Coverage: Analyze and monitor changing market conditions across global regions, identifying emerging opportunities and shifts in airline demand patterns
* Transaction Documentation Support: Assist senior marketing staff in preparation and review of Letters of Intent (LOIs) and lease documentation, ensuring accuracy and market competitiveness
* Airline Account Management Support: Support senior marketing professionals in managing airline relationships, including account analysis, relationship mapping, and client communication coordination
* Fleet Demand Analysis: Analyze airline fleet demand trends, route development, and capacity planning to identify potential leasing opportunities and market timing
* Asset Management Support: Support value-add asset management initiatives including lease extensions, restructuring opportunities, and portfolio optimization strategies
* Data Management & Analytics: Maintain and update comprehensive aircraft market databases, airline fleet data, and customer relationship management systems
* Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, fleet deployments, pricing strategies, and market positioning across global markets
* Market Reporting: Prepare detailed market reports, airline analyses, and industry summaries to support senior management decision-making
* Marketing Material Development: Assist in preparation of marketing presentations, proposals, and client pitch materials for potential customers
* Industry Event Support: Support marketing initiatives at aviation conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build industry relationships
* Remarketing Analysis: Support aircraft remarketing initiatives by analyzing market conditions, comparable transactions, and optimal disposition strategies
* Route & Market Analysis: Conduct route profitability analysis and market entry assessments to support airline customer strategic planning
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree required; 0-2 years of experience, including recent college graduates or those with experience in the aviation industry
* Passion for Aviation & Airline Marketing: Genuine enthusiasm for the aviation industry with a deep desire for airline marketing, route development, and commercial aviation strategy
* Excel/modeling/forecasting/AI skills are essential for sophisticated market analysis and data management
* Geographic Market Knowledge: Understanding of global aviation markets or strong interest in learning regional dynamics and cultural nuances
* Communication & Documentation: Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to support transaction documentation and client communications
* Course work in finance, economics, business, aviation management, or marketing preferred
* COLLABORATIVE approach with capability to manage multiple projects while supporting senior marketing professionals
* Strong interpersonal skills & ability to work across disciplines with TRANSPARENCY and INTEGRITY in all client and market interactions
