The successful candidates will be provided with the opportunity to support individuals with independent living skills, community inclusion and the promotion of their personal health and wellbeing.
We are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic Support Workers to support, encourage and motivate individuals to lead a fulfilling life. We expect candidates to have a relevant QQI Level 5 qualification.
Knowledge of New Directions Interim Standards and Person Centred Support Plans. To have a valid licence to drive a manual vehicle in Ireland.
Experience of supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, excellent organisational, logistical and I.T skills an advantage, lone working/Individual Support & the ability to work as part of team.
Experience of working with people with a range of support needs to include behaviours of concern.
Good connections in the local community an advantage."
