We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development and management of our adult services in a community setting.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day management of the service area, reflecting our ethos and vision, and fostering this vision in their relationships with the people supported by the services, their families, staff members, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
* To manage and develop the adult services within the designated area, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
* To provide leadership and guidance to staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* To foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including individuals supported by the services, their families, and external partners.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant qualification in health or social care, such as a nursing qualification (RNID/RNMH) or a third-level qualification in the Health/Social Care Sector. They must also have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a management role, with expertise in budgetary/financial management, employee relations, and team management.
Skills and Abilities
* Excellent leadership, managerial, and team-working skills are required.
* Proficient in ICT skills with a good working knowledge of IT systems.
* Strong communication and organisational skills, together with up-to-date knowledge of current thinking and practices in person-centred service delivery.
