Job Description:
The Car Body Welder / Fabricator will be responsible for carrying out high -quality fabrication and welding work on vehicle bodies that have corrosion or structural damage. The role involves manufacturing and fitting repair panels to restore vehicles to a safe and professional standard, in line with industry specifications and company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
•Fabricate and weld repair panels for damaged or corroded vehicle bodies.
•Carry out structural and non -structural welding repairs with precision and accuracy.
•Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods.
•Ensure all fabrication and welding work meets quality, safety, and manufacturer standards.
•Use welding and fabrication tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
•Maintain a clean, safe, and well -organised workshop environment.
•Work collaboratively with other technicians to ensure timely and high -quality repairs.
Requirements
•Minimum of one year's experience in car body welding and fabrication (desirable).
•Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and workmanship.
•Ability to read and interpret repair specifications and measurements.
•Welding certification or relevant technical qualification is an advantage.
•Good understanding of workshop health and safety practices.
•Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
