Water Network Manager Lead
The ideal candidate will have a background in Civil/Environmental Engineering, with experience in water network management or leakage detection. They will lead and manage the performance of the Leakage Detection team(s) around the region, providing direction and skills to undertake leakage & network management activities within the water network system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership & Performance Management: Lead and manage leakage detection teams, ensuring compliance, skills development, performance reviews, and efficient use of resources.
* Leakage Detection & Network Management: Oversee leakage detection operations, data accuracy, and use of technology.
* Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with internal teams and external parties, ensuring effective planning, permitting and reporting.
* Operational Planning & Decision-Making: Prioritise and direct proactive and reactive leakage control activities, manage small projects, and escalate issues appropriately.
* Health, Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety procedures, provide necessary equipment, and ensure adherence.
* Reservoir & Pump Management: Monitor and manage pumping regimes and reservoir operations to support network efficiency.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' direct relevant experience in a senior water network management role.
