Red Chair Recruitment are seeking a retail assistant for a part time position in our farm supplies retailer in Killorglin. The ideal candidate should be well organised, a good communicator, have some computer skills and preferably a knowledge of farming. Training will be provided. They will handle day-to-day sales enquiries, process customer orders and quotations, and provide excellent service and support to our valued customers. This position may suit a person looking to get back to work. Key Responsibilities Manage incoming customer calls as the first point of contact. Build and maintain customer relationships. Respond to quotes and sales enquiries accurately and promptly. Restock displays to ensure consistent product availability. Handle POS transactions (cash, card, credit). Maintain high standards of store presentation and cleanliness. Follow cash and merchandise security procedures. Comply with all policies, health & safety procedures, and report hazards. Requirements Include Experience in a similar role is desirable. Ability to use initiative and adapt when needed. Highly organised with strong time-management skills. Knowledge of the farming sector is an advantage. Able to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication, interpersonal, and IT skills. Ability to lift and move stock.
