About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Care Professional to join our team. As a key member of our care staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality person-centred care to our residents.
Working closely with our activity co-ordinator, you will ensure that our residents participate fully in all activities and engage with their peers. You will also escort residents to appointments and provide support with daily tasks such as eating, drinking and using toilet facilities.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide quality person-centred care to meet residents' needs
* Enable and assist residents to maintain their personal hygiene and appearance
* Enable and assist residents to eat and drink
* Enable and assist residents to access and use toilet facilities
* Promote mobility of residents and supervise as necessary
* Maintain high level of communication between residents, families and staff
You will be responsible for assessing and recording vital signs and weights, participating in CPR and basic lifesaving and taking blood samples following phlebotomy training.

* Cheerful and compassionate by nature
* Sound judgement, initiative and problem-solving abilities
* Good communication skills (reading, writing and communicating clearly)
* Experience preferred but not essential
