We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven
Financial Accountant
to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing month-end reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role involves close collaboration with the finance team and other departments to ensure data integrity. Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
* Prepare and review month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
* Analyse financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting policies
* Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
* Support internal and external audit processes
* Assist with preparation and submission of tax filings, regulatory reporting and ad-hoc analysis
* Support process improvements and automation initiatives
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Professional qualification required (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA)
* 1-2 years of post-qualification experience or similar role
* Strong understanding of accounting standards
* Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
