CSC Partners Recruitment are proud to be working exclusively with a well-established service organisation based in Mallow, employing over 70 people and delivering high-quality services across Munster.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Trainee Accounting Technician to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a keen interest in accounting who is either currently studying or planning to study towards the Accounting Technician (IATI) qualification.
You will be fully office-based in Mallow town, working closely with a professional and supportive accounts team. The company offers excellent training and mentoring, ensuring that you gain hands-on experience and progress quickly in your career.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Support with accounts payable and receivable tasks
* Reconcile bank accounts and supplier statements
* Assist with resolving financial queries with both internal and external contacts
* Distribute and log incoming/outgoing post
* Provide administrative support to Directors and Project Managers
* Help prepare financial documentation for company projects
* Assist in preparing reports for senior management and the board
* Ensure all documentation aligns with internal Change Control Processes
* General accounts and administrative tasks as required
What You'll Bring:
* Some prior experience or exposure to accounting/finance
* A strong desire to train as an Accounting Technician (IATI)
* You may be registered or eligible for support through Solus
* Excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* A professional, ambitious mindset with a willingness to learn
