An excellent opportunity has arisen within the company for a
Mine Assets Maintenance Supervisor
. Reporting to the Head of Section Mine Assets and EIA the position involves responsibility for key underground activities to achieve efficiencies, standards and goals through leadership of their team. The role involves high quality leadership, to promote and uphold the Boliden Tara values of Care, Courage and Responsibility, whilst also ensuring a safe and positive working environment within the mining operation. The successful candidate will coach and facilitate team members so that the team reaches its full potential. The successful candidate will also promote and lead the implementation of continuous improvements within the operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team to ensure targets are achieved in the areas of EHSQ, production, development, ore quality and costs.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Oversee mine operations during assigned shift, ensuring production and safety.
* Maintain safety, efficiency, and compliance with legislation and company standards.
* Manage crew performance, shift planning, and coordination of resources.
* Optimize productivity through effective allocation of workforce, equipment, and supplies.
* Drive training, development, and coaching aligned with departmental objectives.
* Participate in QCD meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, and statutory regulations, including 5S practices.
* Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to prioritize equipment and services.
* Monitor plant equipment status, availability, and service requirements.
* Manage budgets, requisition parts, and ensure tools and materials are available.
* Model Boliden's core values and foster a culture of safety and accountability.
* Complete required documentation such as Continuity Logs and planning/reporting systems.
* Allocate correct personnel to jobs and ensure services meet quality standards within planned timeframes.
* Support maintenance planning and assist with assessments as needed.
* Identify and report equipment damage or hazards promptly to maintain operational integrity.
* Contribute to special projects and data collection for continuous improvement.
* Maintain familiarity with departmental budget constraints and work within limits.

Additional Info:
* This role will be full-time, permanent. Working the mine assets 2 cycle 10.5hr supervisor's shift.
