At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Bid Administrator to join our client’s growing team based in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bid Administrator to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.


Responsibilities

* Assist in the preparation and submission of tender and eTender prequalification documents and quotes.
* Coordinate and gather information, to complete bid responses.
* Ensure bid documentation is accurate, compliant and submitted on time.
* Format and proofread proposal content to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
* Maintain and organise the tender document library and bid templates.
* Track bid deadlines and ensure all stakeholders are aware of submission timelines.
* Support the preparation of bid presentations and supporting documents.


Skills Required

o Previous experience in bid administration, bid coordination or a similar administrative role, including eTenders.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Strong organisational and time management abilities .
o High attention to detail with strong document formatting skills.
o Leadership skills to plan, manage and direct multi-disciplinary teams.
o Significant base of IT skills including MS Project, Word, Excel, Power Point.
o High level of commercial understanding and application.
o A successful track record working closely in partnership with clients, contractors and design teams.
o A positive, proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
o Strong interpersonal/people skills with the ability to work in and manage teams.
o Self-motivated with ability to work in an unstructured environment.


Desirable Experience

o Experience in a live office environment.
o Familiarity with Architectural roles and services.
o Familiarity with public sector procurement portals such as eTenders.
o Knowledge of bid processes or proposal writing best practices.


Qualifications

o Relevant third-level qualification preferred.
o Training or certification in bid/proposal writing (e.g. APMP) is an advantage.
