Automation Engineer Job Summary
The role of Automation Engineer is available in Dublin, Ireland. This is a fixed-term contract position.
As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key part in supporting and developing automation systems on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot and fault-find complex automation equipment and networks.
* Review and modify software programs developed by others.
* Integrate MES EBR systems with manufacturing and packaging equipment.
* Manage controller networks, OPC connectivity, and historian integration.
* Implement LDAP/Active Directory integration for access control on equipment.
* Ensure system development and upgrades follow GAMP 5 and SDLC guidelines.
You will also prepare and review design documentation, generate project documentation, develop end-user training materials, and conduct training on new systems and processes.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience with automated control systems in a regulated environment.
* Solid understanding of change control and working in validated systems.
* Demonstrated experience integrating SCADA systems with MES platforms.
