We have an exciting caregiver position available for a wonderful 82-year-old woman living in County Kildare. She is an active individual who loves housekeeping, gardening, and staying busy throughout the day. While she has recently become more vulnerable due to cognitive decline, she remains mobile and loves going on walks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with preparing and cooking meals
* Help with grocery shopping and light housework
* Provide medication prompting
* Offer companionship and help maintain a positive daily routine
* Collaborate with the family and HSE care team to establish and maintain a care plan
The family is seeking a caregiver to work 5 to 6 days per week, up to 48 hours per week, with flexibility based on the client's needs.
About the Home:
* 4-bedroom semi-detached home, recently upgraded with new heating and insulation
* Private double room with exclusive use of the main bathroom
* Large back garden
* Close to shops and public transport, with easy access to Dublin City Centre
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience
* Non-smoker
* Compassionate and reliable
* Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
