We are seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as a Store Operations Manager. As a key member of the retail team, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales performance and ensuring seamless operations across our stores.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily store operations, including:
* Assigning staff to areas and ensuring sufficient tasks are completed each day.
* Deputising for the Store Manager when necessary and running the store in their absence.
* Training new staff members and refreshing existing staff with product knowledge and customer service standards weekly.
* Managing cash and financial administration.
* Leading by example on stringent security requirements.
* Demonstrating excellent customer service standards.
* Developing staff in customer service, product knowledge, attendance, punctuality, and work performance through regular monitoring, feedback, and training.
* Utilising shop floor layout guides and window planograms to maintain store standards.
* Managing absence, conducting back-to-work interviews, and monitoring Health and Safety policies.
* Staying aware of external environment factors to develop non-direct business.
Additional responsibilities include being flexible, acting as a key holder, and responding to alarm activations. The successful candidate will also be required to undertake additional duties as required for the successful operation of the store.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, people management, and leadership skills. Visual Merchandising experience is desirable, as is proficiency in IT, including Excel, Email, and SAP.
