iLiv property management is a dynamic and growing company dedicated to delivering high-quality maintenance and refurbishment services. We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team.
We are seeking a skilled reliable individual who takes pride in their role and who has a commitment to safety and quality.
The role involves carrying out a variety of carpentry-related tasks, including repairs, installations, and refurbishment projects in residential, commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building systems, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel around Ireland when necessary
Perform carpentry tasks including repairing doors, windows, floors, ceilings, cabinets, and other wooden structures.
Install partitions, fixtures, frameworks, and fittings as part of refurbishment projects.
Conduct site inspections to assess maintenance needs and complete repair work as required.
Work alongside other trades (plumbers, electricians, painters, plasterers) during multi-trade refurbishment projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to specified dimensions.
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and building regulations.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in clean and good working condition.
Assist with general building maintenance tasks when required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in maintenance and refurbishment environments.
Knowledge of various carpentry methods, materials, and tools.
Ability to perform minor repairs in other trades (basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good physical condition and stamina; able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
Valid driver's license
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong commitment to workplace safety.
