We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior EHS Advisor to join Suir Engineering and work on a Data Center project in Leixlip.

What you will be doing?
* Support the Senior Health & Safety advisor in ensuring Health & Safety compliance on site
* Work effectively with the Project Manager and Construction Team with the implementation of the Integrated Management System
* Ensure the site is adequately set up and a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plan is complete
* Assist with site Safety Audits and complete a report on same
* Assist with the development of Risk Assessment & Method Statements
* Assist with the development of SOPs and provide training and communication to site personnel
* Communicate Safety Alerts through Toolbox Talk on a scheduled basis
* Become familiar with and promote the ‘Suir Way’ and its interfaces with Health & Safety
* Report and investigate incidents when they occur and ensure root causes are identified, mitigated, and communicated
* Ensure statutory forms and inspections are complete and recorded in a timely fashion
* Promote a good safety culture on site
Is this the job for me?
* Suitable candidates must have a relevant Health and Safety Diploma / Degree and a minimum of 1 year’s experience in an Environmental Health and Safety role
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to prioritize workload according to deadlines with a high attention to detail
* Ability to influence colleagues at all levels
* Enjoy working as part of a high performing team
