Job Title: Family Support Specialist
This role is centered around providing personalized support to families in need. The ideal candidate will engage with families directly, offering one-on-one and group programme support to children, young people, and their caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
* To deliver targeted support to families, promoting positive outcomes for children and young people.
* To participate in outreach initiatives, fostering connections with families and young people at risk.
* To provide guidance and resources on issues affecting family well-being.
* To empower parents in their caregiving roles.
* To advocate on behalf of the community's most vulnerable members.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Applied Social Care or a related field.
* Proven experience working with vulnerable children, young people, and families.
* Excellent communication skills, enabling effective engagement with diverse groups.
* Flexibility and willingness to travel within the designated area.
This is a full-time position requiring 34 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be required periodically. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are also necessary.
