Excellent opportunity for the position of Field Service Engineer based with a key global client in Kildare.
Do you like to troubleshoot, solve complex problems and enjoy hands on tasks and projects? Our client are the leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce virtually every new chip and advanced display in the world.
If you're successful, you will work as a Field Service Engineer and provide service and maintenance support to customers of clients key equipment, this is an onsite based role. Once you a fully trained - you will be working a 4 cycle shift.
There will be a travel requirement for this position. You will spend several weeks initially at one of the global training sites, before returning back to Ireland
Shift role:
Who we are looking for:
1. A Technical qualification (ideally Level 8) or equivalent industry experience is desirable.
2. Someone who has practical hands-on work exposure (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic) through previous experience or project work;
3. Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
4. Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges
5. Basic mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics
6. Familiarity with hand tools and their appropriate usage, including digital multimeters
7. Effective written and verbal communication skills
8. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
9. Full Driving License
10. Ability to work 24/7 shift rota
Role
11. You will be involved in the on-site installation, qualification, preventative and corrective maintenance and repair of electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems
12. You will gain valuable experience working in a dynamic and diverse environment;
13. You will get the opportunity to interface with Irish based customers to ensure successful outcomes from equipment installations;
14. You will take responsibility for maintaining a safe working environment.
15. Use digital analytics for troubleshooting

Travel:
There will be a travel requirement for this position. You will spend several weeks initially at one of the global training sites, before returning back to Ireland. Please note - You must be able to travel internationally for this training. Applicants need to have a Stamp 4 or to have unrestricted full working rights for Ireland
