Our client is a leading player in the automotive industry, representing premium vehicle brands nationwide. They pride themselves on efficient operations, a strong dealer network, and ensuring customers receive their vehicles on time. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Vehicle Logistics & Supply Planner to join their operations team.
This is a key planning and coordination role that ensures vehicles flow smoothly from production to showroom. You'll work closely with dealers, logistics partners, and internal teams to manage orders, monitor stock levels, and support a lean, efficient supply chain. This is not a sales role it's about planning, logistics and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the main contact for the dealer network regarding vehicle orders and delivery timelines.
Monitor and update estimated arrival dates for incoming vehicles.
Liaise with logistics partners, production planning teams and internal stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
Manage and update order systems, ensuring alignment with sales and supply plans.
Analyse demand data, spot trends, and help identify opportunities for process improvement.
Support lean supply chain initiatives and help maintain optimum showroom and country stock levels.
Coordinate internal fleet operations and pool vehicle usage.
Contribute to continuous improvement in logistics processes and data accuracy.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar planning, logistics, or operations coordination role.
Strong numeric and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
A full driving licence is required.
