Job Title: MS&T Scientist (Specialist)
The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall running of the MS&T Bioprocess Laboratory and collaborate with a diverse, interdisciplinary team to advance knowledge in biologics manufacture at our Dublin-based facility.
Responsibilities
* Plan and execute analytical testing for USP-DSP scale-down model establishments, satellite runs, and investigation/improvement studies in the MS&T lab.
* Develop and execute DSP laboratory studies, including chromatography runs and filter assessments.
* Support the transfer of analytical methods into the MS&T laboratory.
* Provide specialist analytical support for non-routine analysis and troubleshooting across the site and network.
* Design, execute, analyze, and interpret experimental results.
* Author and review standard operating procedures and technical reports.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (MS&T, quality, analytics, regulatory) for process improvement and troubleshooting.
Requirements
* Bachelor of Science degree or higher in biotechnology, biochemistry, pharmacy, process engineering, or equivalent field.
* At least 5 years of experience, or 3 years with a Master of Science degree, or PhD degree qualification.
* Proven expertise in biologics drug substance upstream and downstream operations, analytical testing, process development, and tech transfer.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, think logically, and communicate effectively.
* Experience working in a GMP / regulated environment is desirable.
