Job Description: Team Horizon is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for Biologics Process Equipment at a leading pharmaceutical company in Sligo.

What you will be doing: Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams for processing equipment delivery based on timelines and scope.
Processing equipment includes autoclaves, RABS & isolator filling machines, LAF units, and more.
Draft User Requirement Specifications.
Select vendors and evaluate them using evaluation matrices.
Write RCEs, place orders, manage projects, and conduct design review meetings.
Ensure compliance with ASME BPE standards and ISPE guidelines.
Coordinate installation and hookup of equipment with vendors and engineers.
Lead Factory Acceptance Testing.
Manage documentation, commissioning, and qualification support.
Collaborate with the Senior Manager & System Owner/Project Team.
Organize handover training, manuals, spare parts, and maintenance schedules.
Participate in technical problem-solving forums related to product manufacture and aseptic filling.
Implement process improvements and cost reduction projects.
Lead weekly project review meetings.
Attend weekly Tier 1 meetings with your manager.
Liaise with various stakeholders including vendors, quality, validation, operations, and maintenance teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What you need to apply: Third-level qualification in Engineering or related discipline/experience.
Experience in Biologics, Pharmaceuticals, or Medical Devices industries.
2-5 years of relevant experience with project management skills.
Proactive, technically skilled self-starter.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team, articulating requirements across disciplines.
Leadership skills and experience in commissioning, validation, or startup are advantageous.
