We are looking for a Site Supervisor with at least 5 years' experience facilitating the delivery of HV substation projects, working in Dublin/Greater Dublin.In support of ESB's strategic objectives of decarbonising electricity, building resilient infrastructure and empowering clients, you will be responsible for delivery of projects from 38kV to 400kV. This may involve some elements of substation work, underground cable works, overhead line work and/or other work streams as required.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include but are not limited to the below:Facilitating the delivery of several projects, including planning, organizing, directing and controlling the projectsInterfacing with local network controllers, delivery teams, materials/stores, and other suppliers/stakeholdersManaging landowners and other local stakeholders to ensure delivery of projectsScheduling project work and tracking and reporting on progress and performanceManaging productivity and performance of resources tasked with delivery of the projectsAssisting with and reporting on project costsEnsuring a safe working environment for staff, contractors and the public and assessing and reporting on quality of tasks and work during constructionManaging contractors (subcontractors including interfaces with internal teams)EssentialExperience and QualificationsAdvanced Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate or Equivalent Work Experience.At least 5 years relevant experience, preferably in the delivery of HV substations projectsKnowledge of network assets and standardsWorking knowledge of HV substation constructionProject Management ExperienceExperience of Quality ManagementKnowledge of ESB Networks Safety Rules, structure and operation experience in working and delivering on the transmission and distribution networksLocationThis role will be working on projects in Dublin/Greater Dublin.The role may require a significant amount of travel (often at short notice) throughout Ireland.ESB is committed to smart working – combining digital tools with a culture of trust and empowerment to enable flexible ways of working.
