Key Responsibilities:
* Portfolio Management:
Handle a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met and business is retained.
* Client Service:
Conduct renewals, market comparisons, and finalize placements, while issuing accurate policy documentation.
* Underwriter Coordination:
Collect and submit necessary information to underwriters to facilitate risk placement and follow up diligently.
* Customer Inquiry Resolution:
Address ad hoc client queries, including mid-term adjustments and claims reporting.
* Documentation:
Maintain meticulous file management to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Market Awareness:
Stay informed about industry trends, insurer updates, and evolving client needs.
* Team Collaboration:
Support team leaders and collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
Experience / Skills Required:
* Broking Experience:
Previous experience in commercial insurance broking.
* Qualification:
APA/CIP
* Product Knowledge:
Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, including Property, Liability, and Professional Indemnity.
* Organizational Skills:
Excellent administrative and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
* Regulatory Knowledge:
Familiarity with the regulatory landscape governing the insurance industry in Ireland.
* IT Proficiency:
Strong IT skills; experience with insurance software is an advantage.
* Customer Focus:
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
