Job Title: Project Manager (Postdoctoral Researcher or Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist)
This role is a Health Research Board (HRB) funded Knowledge Translation Award, which was awarded to Prof Helen French, Associate Professor in Physiotherapy. The project aims to create an online educational resource with the help of a public and patient involvement (PPI) panel, made up of people with gluteal tendinopathy.
About the Role
* Work with the Principal Investigator (PI), research team and PPI panel to ensure the project deliverables are met
* Develop Standard Operating Procedures
* Administrative tasks such as setting up team meetings, setting agenda and taking minutes; preparing trial briefing reports on a regular basis
* Assist in the dissemination of completed education resource to scientific, professional and lay audiences
* Engage in performance development and participate in training and development programmes
About the Team
The project manager will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI), research team and PPI panel to develop the content and format of this resource, and design and implement dissemination.
Qualifications and Experience
* PhD in musculoskeletal related field or a musculoskeletal CORU-registered chartered physiotherapist
* Knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions, such as gluteal tendinopathy
* Some experience of communicating science and health content for general audiences
* Strong project planning, organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise objectives and produce results
* Excellent editorial and writing skills, with a keen eye for detail
