Toolmaker - County Westmeath. Key Responsibilities: Performing scheduled tool maintenance pre & post production, as well as supporting reactive maintenance during production. Carry out incoming verification on tool spares procured. Review and maintain plastic injection tools, jigs and fixtures when required. Possess the skill set to completely split a tool, clean, polish, assess for wear areas, report on same, and rebuild. Maintain accurate maintenance records Perform root cause investigation as required, and support corrective actions to analyse quality and process problems. Participate in validation of new products and equipment as required. Requirements for this role: Interested candidate must be a fully qualified toolmaker Experienced with hot runner and valve gate systems including wiring of same. Experienced with the repair and maintenance of injection moulding tools. Possess good problem solving capabilities.
