Necto Search and Selection is partnering with a leading Irish Tier One Main Contractor to recruit a highly organised and proactive Plant Department Administrator.

This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our client's plant and vehicle fleet.
Based at the modern plant yard in Dublin 22, you will be the central point for all administrative functions, supporting the team with data management, compliance, and coordination.
This is a permanent position, offered initially to provide coverage for a period of maternity leave, with the potential for long-term integration into the team for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities: As the Plant Department Administrator, you will be responsible for a range of critical tasks, including: Data & Asset Management: Accurately updating the company's central database with all asset-related information, including new asset set-up and disposals.
Document Processing: Processing delivery/return dockets, stores issues, and vehicle/plant inspection sheets to ensure full compliance.
Financial Administration: Checking and reconciling invoices against accruals, and managing toll and fuel card processing.
Vehicle & Plant Coordination: Organising vehicle tax, NCT/CVRT bookings, and coordinating scheduled maintenance and servicing.
Reporting: Generating and distributing accurate weekly and monthly departmental reports.
Systems Management: Maintaining the electronic filing system for all Plant department records, ensuring easy access and accuracy.
The Ideal Candidate: To be successful in this role, you will be a self-motivated administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You possess a minimum of2 years' relevant administrative experience.
You haveexceptional PC skills, with advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
You arehighly detail-oriented and take pride in delivering work of the highest standard.
You have superborganisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage your own time and meet strict deadlines.
You are a strong communicator, comfortable working both independently and as a key part of a dynamic team.
Experience within construction, engineering, or a similar asset-heavy industry is desirable but not essential.
