A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Consultant Engineer to join its expanding team in Dublin. With a strong reputation in the power and energy sector across Ireland and the UK, the company is investing in technical expertise to support a growing portfolio of energy infrastructure projects, particularly in thermal power generation.
Your new role as Consultant Engineer (Energy Generation)
You will play a key role in the technical delivery of energy generation projects, with a focus on thermal technologies including gas turbines, CHP systems, and steam cycle plants. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to project phases ranging from feasibility and concept development to detailed design, due diligence, and commissioning.
What you will need to succeed as a Consultant Engineer (Energy Generation)
* A degree in Mechanical, Process or Energy Engineering (or a closely related discipline)
* Experience working on energy generation or thermal power projects
* Knowledge of thermal systems including gas, steam, or combined heat and power technologies
* Experience with performance analysis, system design and project lifecycle delivery
* Familiarity with energy regulations, permitting processes, and commercial drivers
