The Dublin Legal team has an opening for a senior lawyer.
The successful candidate will assist the Dublin General Counsel in managing the team, and will advise SEI's Irish entities on corporate governance and regulatory matters.
The role also involves supporting SEI's Fund Administrator and Depositary businesses and collaborating with Legal and Compliance teams in Dublin, Luxembourg and the USA.
What you'll do
Drafting and negotiating client service agreements (administration, depositary, NDA, etc.) and reviewing legal documentation for new client fund launches.
Supporting Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Financial Reporting and Depositary teams on legal issues related to client mandates.
Advising on corporate governance requirements and regulations affecting Fund Service Providers, and assisting with timely implementation of regulatory changes.
Drafting, implementing and maintaining legal and regulatory templates, policies and procedures.
Assisting the Dublin Company Secretary in preparing for board meetings of SEI Ireland entities.
Contributing to global legal and compliance projects and initiatives.
What you will bring to the table
Qualified solicitor in Ireland or England with 7‑10 years of post‑qualification experience in funds or financial services, either in a law firm or an in‑house legal department.
Experience drafting and reviewing service contracts, ideally Fund Service Provider agreements for EU investment funds.
Strong knowledge of laws, regulations and industry guidance impacting Fund Administrators and Depositaries.
