Our culinary team at the Oak Room is seeking a talented Commis Chef to join our kitchen.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Demi Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie in preparing and serving meals. This includes organizing mise-en-place production, taking orders from colleagues, and writing daily requisitions for approval by senior chefs.
A recognized qualification in culinary arts is essential, along with at least 2 years' experience in high-end hotels or restaurants. The successful applicant will have strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and attention to detail when it comes to portion size, quantity, and quality.
