Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Role Overview
This position involves providing critical support to patients undergoing lower limb surgeries and general orthopaedic surgery. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering evidence-based care and ensuring expertise in specialty practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing OPD clinic assistance/consultation and telephone liaison to support patient and family well-being.
* Liaising closely with Orthopedic Consultants to keep them informed about patient progress/concerns.
* Serving as a resource for colleagues, allied professionals, and other healthcare specialists.
* Providing specialist nursing education to patients, families, and multidisciplinary staff.
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience, with at least 3 recent years within Children’s nursing. They should also have experience in driving quality improvement initiatives in a healthcare environment and demonstrated clinical and managerial competence.
