Part Qualified Accountant Our client, a very successful firm in the Automotive Sector, is looking to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant for a permanent role. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the Finance team. This role is ideal for a candidate actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) / or has a degree in an Accounting discipline who wants to grow in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role is based in Dublin 12/22 and will be a minimum of 4 days in the office, so this location must suit you. This role may suit someone who wishes to transition from a practice to an industry role. The Role: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis Support month-end and year-end close processes Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors Reconcile key accounts and investigate discrepancies Support budgeting and forecasting processes Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial controls and systems Prepare VAT returns and support other regulatory reporting requirements Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial processes align with operational needs Undertake ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by senior finance staff Ad hoc tasks required by the Finance Manager. The Person: Part Qualified Accountant or Degree in Accounting or Business. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Minimum of 1-2 years accounting experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) Experience in Industry or practice Deadline driven and can prioritise work effectively. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively as part of a team. High level of proficiency with MS Office and financial IT systems. Flexible, adaptable and proactive approach.
