**Water Projects Manager**
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Resident Engineer to manage water projects in the North East of Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of new and upgraded water network improvements.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in onsite supervision, site engineering of civil engineering works, including water projects. They should possess a Degree in a related discipline such as Civil Engineering and have a strong understanding of Health and Safety procedures and regulations.
A current and valid SafePass card is essential. Confined Spaces training would be desirable. Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are also required.
The role involves working closely with Regional Contractors to ensure project delivery, liaising with Local Authorities to deliver projects, carrying out HSQE audits, managing HSQE issues, processing work orders, service request approval, updating trackers, reviewing and approval of as laid drawings, working with IW Design Engineers, dealing with complaints, providing feedback to Regional Leads and IW, attending and managing meetings with Regional Contractors and IW, keeping records, creating lists of snags and signing off when complete, and visiting sites before works commence to anticipate any potential issues.
