Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in Acute Haematology Oncology. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to individuals with blood disorders and cancers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the complexities of haematology oncology and be able to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop targeted interventions to address these needs
* Collaborate with a range of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between settings
* Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care strategies
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in haematology oncology to inform practice and improve patient outcomes
Key Requirements:
* Registered Nurse qualification and experience in haematology oncology
* Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant area, such as cancer nursing or haematology
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
