Job Overview
We are seeking 2 passionate and dedicated Early Years Educators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and play-based learning. You will work closely with children aged 3-5 years, supporting their emotional, social, and cognitive growth while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
* Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning through play.
* Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and identifying areas for improvement.
* Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
* Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support a collaborative approach to education.
* Encourage positive behaviour and social skills among children, guiding them in resolving conflicts.
* Maintain accurate records of children's attendance and progress in line with regulatory requirements.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Skills
* Strong understanding of child development theories and practices relevant to early years education.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and adults alike.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
* Creativity in planning activities that stimulate children's curiosity and interest in learning.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
