Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Strategic Procurement Leader to oversee the sourcing, distribution, and storage of materials and equipment.
About the Role: As a Strategic Procurement Leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that support business needs. You will also manage daily logistics operations, negotiate terms with suppliers, and monitor supplier performance.
* Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business objectives.
* Manage daily logistics operations, including inventory management and supply chain optimization.
* Negotiate terms and build relationships with suppliers and service providers.
* Monitor supplier performance regarding cost, quality, and delivery.
* Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
* Maintain compliance with internal procedures, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements:
* Degree in Supply Chain or related field
* Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role, preferably within a project-focused environment
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams
* Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
* Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Experience in project-based sectors such as infrastructure, construction, or engineering would be an advantage
