About the Role
Deputy Grace Boland TD is seeking a motivated and highly organised Administrative Assistant to join her team.
This is a dynamic and varied role supporting both parliamentary and constituency work — no two days are the same
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for all queries received via email, phone, and social media.
Manage and resolve constituent queries by liaising with relevant government departments, local authorities, and public bodies.
Assist with local updates and communications, including preparing newsletters, social media content, and other digital materials.
Develop and maintain relationships with local organisations, schools, public agencies, and community/voluntary groups.
Organise and manage meetings, clinics, and constituency events, ensuring efficient diary and logistics management.
Essential Skills & Experience
Excellent communication and organisational skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail and time management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Self-motivated and independent — able to take initiative, manage tasks autonomously, and meet deadlines.
Demonstrates empathy, patience, and professionalism in all interactions.
Strong social media skills, with confidence in managing posts and engagement across platforms, and basic content creation using Canva and CapCut.
